1. Introduction
Arachne ("the App") is an iOS application provided by PlayMind Co. that helps you manage and visualize your account connections across online services. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
All data you enter is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. No data is transmitted to external servers, and no account registration or personal information collection takes place.
User-entered data (stored locally only)
- Account names and identifiers (email addresses, usernames, etc.)
- Services linked to each account
- Optional notes and memos
All entered data exists only on your device and is never sent externally.
Information collected by third-party SDKs
The App uses the following SDKs, which may collect some information:
- Google AdMob (advertising): May collect advertising IDs and device information. SeeGoogle's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat (purchase management): Processes anonymous purchase information only. SeeRevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
Entered information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Displaying and managing account-to-service connections
- Visualizing connections in the spider web graph
- Navigating to service unlink pages
4. Data Storage
All data is stored on your device only, using SQLite local storage. No data is sent to cloud services or external servers.
Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored data.
5. Brand Icons
The App displays brand icons to help users identify online services. Icons are sourced from Simple Icons (simpleicons.org), licensed under CC0 1.0 Universal (public domain), and are used solely for service identification purposes.
6. Sharing with Third Parties
User-entered account and service data is never shared with third parties. However, Google AdMob and RevenueCat SDKs may collect device identifiers and ad IDs as described above. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.
The App does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
7. Security
Your data is protected by iOS standard security mechanisms including device encryption and app sandboxing. Enabling a device passcode and Face ID / Touch ID provides additional protection against unauthorized access.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be communicated via the App Store description or update release notes.
