1. Introduction
LogicalBody (the "App") is an iOS body-composition and fitness planning application developed by PlayMind Co. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Information We Collect
The App stores information you enter on your device (locally) and, for syncing across your own devices, in your personal iCloud account. The App does not transmit data to any server operated by us.
Information you provide
- Profile (sex, date of birth, height, weight, activity level, goal weight and goal type)
- Weight logs
- Meal logs (food name, quantity, calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates)
- Exercise logs (exercise, sets, weight, reps, duration, distance)
- Supplement logs (type, name, amount, nutritional content)
- Notification/reminder settings and theme preference
Information from Apple Health (HealthKit) — only if you enable the integration
If you turn on "Sync with HealthKit" in Settings, the App reads and, for body weight only, writes the following data. You can turn this off at any time from the Settings screen.
- Body weight (read and write)
- Step count and active energy burned (read only)
- Sleep hours (read only)
- Walking and running workouts (read only)
Health data is used only on your device to improve the accuracy of your roadmap calculations and to automatically create exercise entries. It is never transmitted externally.
Camera
The App uses the camera to scan food barcodes. No photo or video is stored; only the recognized barcode number is used to look up product information.
Barcode Product Lookup (Open Food Facts)
Scanned barcode numbers are sent to Open Food Facts, a free open product database, to retrieve product names and nutrition facts. This request does not include any information that identifies you.
Information Collected for Advertising (Google AdMob)
This App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (Pro subscribers do not see ads). AdMob may collect the following information for ad delivery purposes:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Ad interaction data
Collected data is not linked to your personal identity and is not used for cross-app tracking. For more details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
Subscription (Pro Plan)
Pro plan purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit. Payment details such as credit card numbers are handled by Apple and are never shared with us.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information entered in or retrieved by the App is used solely for:
- Calculating your basal metabolic rate, energy expenditure, and nutrition targets, and displaying your goal roadmap
- Managing and reviewing your meal, exercise, weight, and supplement logs
- Improving calculation accuracy and auto-creating exercise entries using Health data
- Sending reminders related to logging your records
4. Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. To sync your records across your own devices, data is also stored in your personal iCloud account (CloudKit), a private storage space provided by Apple that we cannot access.
You can permanently delete your data by uninstalling the App and removing the data from your iCloud settings.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not share the records you enter with third parties. The App does, however, rely on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Apple (iCloud/CloudKit, HealthKit, StoreKit)
- Google AdMob (advertising)
- Open Food Facts (barcode product lookup)
This App does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
6. Security
Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device-level encryption and app sandboxing, along with Apple's iCloud security infrastructure. Enabling a passcode and Face ID / Touch ID on your device provides an additional layer of protection.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Your Rights
- You can turn off HealthKit integration at any time from the Settings screen
- You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App

This policy may be revised as needed. Significant changes will be announced in the App Store update notes or within the App.
